Well before I saw which photo of your mother you chose for the piano, I felt the one of her holding her scarf up in the Hawaiian breeze might be the one. It is a perfect choice. I smiled and got teary when I saw it there. Love to you.
You have been in my heart this day. An anniversary of a loved one's death is a pulling and a withdrawing, much like the strong force of the ocean's tide.
You do have much to be thankful for this day, yet I know grief must have its assigned place too.
